Packing Tips for CDs, Tapes and Records

Often people get baffled or face troubles when it comes to pack compact dishes, tapes and records. Learn some significant tips, which will help you appreciably when you start pack compact dishes, tapes and records on your residence shift from one place to another.
First of all remove CDs, tapes and records from the stereo, music players, or storage cabinet. Pack these items in small cartons because such items and records are heavy. If records are not in jackets, wrap separately in high quality wrapping sheet or tissue paper or plastic wrap to protect them from being scratched.
Keep compact dishes or records inside the box on the edge --- do not place them flat -- never flat. You should definitely put a layer or wadded papers on the bottom inside the carton before you put these items inside.
Maintain at both ends with a large, hardcover book or several pieces of cardboard cut to fit. Top with another layer of wadded newspaper or bubble wraps or lightly crushed paper.
Mention items on the outside of the box and label each and every packed box properly with tag "FRAGILE."
Place cassette tapes in the very protective plastic box in which they came if possible. Now cover each cassette properly in crumpled wrapping sheet. Place each and every wrapped cassette tape either horizontally or vertically on a couple of layers of wadded newspapers inside the box. Again do not forget to label carton with the tag “Fragile – Cassettes”
